Last week NVAA issued a survey to our database asking your opinion of how we handle upcoming events. Approximately 50% of respondents have taken some sort of action to remind and educate their tenants and employees including hanging posters, sending an email and adding sanitizers in high traffic areas as well as canceling events. Nearly 90% of respondents indicated they prefer for NVAA to postpone or reschedule upcoming events.

Yesterday, the CDC issued guidance recommending all events and gatherings of more than 50 people be postponed.

Considering the potential threat of spreading COVID-19, NVAA will be postponing the Mold Seminar what was to be held on March 24th and the HVAC Seminar scheduled for April 29th. We will work with the sponsors of these events to reschedule once the CDC has revised their recommendations. NVAA will continue to hold committee meetings virtually until further notice. Committee members will be notified shortly how to participate virtually.

I want to thank each of you for your involvement with NVAA. We are a strong and passionate community!

If you have further questions or concerns, I welcome your questions and comments to nvaa@nvaa.net.

Sincerely,

Gerald Pierce
President
