Algyer Brings Wealth of Association Management Experience to the Role

Arlington, VA - The Northern Virginia Apartment Association (NVAA) today announced the hiring of Patrick Algyer, CVA as Executive Director. Algyer will lead NVAA to fulfill the goals and mission of the organization, grow its revenue and increase engagement on all levels in concert with the NVAA Board of Directors.

“We are thrilled to bring Patrick on board to lead NVAA as we step into a new decade,” said Gerald Pierce, NVAA Board President. “He intuitively understands how associations work and has a proven track record of community building and driving member engagement that will serve NVAA well.”

Algyer brings more than a decade of association management experience in both volunteer and paid positions. He is also a Certified Volunteer Administrator and recognized as a trusted advisor in the association industry.

“NVAA leads Northern Virginia in multi-family advocacy and education,” said Algyer. “I’m excited to take on this role and work with the Board of Directors to promote the success of the apartment industry and provide strong value for our membership.”

Previously, Algyer served as the Chief Strategist and Founder of Encore Engagement Solutions, an organization dedicated to helping associations achieve greater success by providing an aggressive, yet simple approach to association management. Prior to that, he spent five years in various membership and volunteer relations roles for the Global Business Travel Association – a trade organization with over 10,000 members.
